Our fun, kid-centric salon is located in the Festival of Riva shopping center. Locally owned , we have been providing the greater Annapolis area with fun, stress-free, quality kid’s haircuts for 5 years now!  Our team of experienced stylist strive to provide the best haircut experience for you and your child!

 In our bright and cheerful salon, kids have so much fun they forget about the actual haircut.  They can enjoy playing at our train table or in our waiting room filled with toys, in addition to checking out a fun video playing on one of our flat screened  TVs.  While getting their haircut, kids can sit in our famous chairs, including a fire truck, airplane, taxi and police car. Older kids can play Playstation at one of our larger chairs while they get the latest hairstyle.  Mom and Dad can also get a great haircut in one of our regular sized chairs.  Throughout the visit, kids enjoy treats galore (with parent’s permission, of course), including animal crackers, a lollipop and a trip to our exciting treasure chest.  Sometimes the hardest part of your visit is getting your child to leave!

February is the month for love.  So wouldn’t you love some new ideas on how to style your daughter’s hair?

Come along with your daughter and learn easy fun hair styles. We will be teaching styles that incorporate braids. twists and curls. We will show you some simple up-dos and styles using hair accessories. Lastly, we will teach you how to fishtail braid, a unique style of braiding. Cost: $12 per Adult, reservation is required. We are so honored to have been able to participate in Southern Anne Arundel County Relay for Life. Hundreds of volunteers and dozens of teams raised more than $66,500 to benefit cancer research. And some brave souls donated their hair to Locks of Love. What a success! Thanks to Ms. Ke, Ms. Carole, Ms. LaToyia, Ms. Shelby and Ms. Christie for donating their time and skills.

We will be closing at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 5th, so that we may join our stylist, Pam, in celebration of her wedding to Mark.  If you have been in to see Pam lately, you know how excited (and stressed!) she is!  We our so excited to be able to celebrate such a joyous occasion with our Pigtails & Crewcuts family.  Please help us spread the word and thank you so much for your understanding.  And if see Pam for a haircut or a new style this week, make sure to wish her luck and a lifetime of happiness!

Sarah Grace came in the salon last week for a new do.  She was originally cast as an orphan in a local production of “Oliver”.After her transformation and another try-out, she was cast as the lead! Help us re-populate our train village! Our train table needs some new engines, cars and cabooses. Bring in any gently-loved trains you are done playing with and receive $2.00 off a kid’s haircut. Mom and Dad, if you have any trains you are no longer playing with, you can get $3.00 off your haircut!

Don’t have enough hours in the day?  Can’t hire a babysitter every time you need a trim? We can help!
