Laredo receives BASICS award at annual Franchise meeting: This past weekend Pigtails & Crewcuts franchise owners and the Pigtails & Crewcuts Franchise held it’s annual meeting and your Laredo – Pigtails & Crewcuts was recognized with the 2011 BASICS award. This is our way of scoring “basic” operations in the salons we had the highest score. We are so proud of our stylists for all the hard work they put into making everyone’s experience a positive one. They are thrilled to be recognized with this award.

MODEL SEARCH 2011!

We think all the kids coming through our doors are adorable, so what better place to start looking for two children to appear in our next print advertisement than with our own customers. So we’re happy to announce our Pigtails & Crewcuts Model Search 2011, where we’ll be looking for one girl and one boy. We’re excited to also announce that we’ve partnered with Doodlebug Creations for the photoshoot with the winners. Here are the detail on how you can enter and win!

1. This contest is taking place on Facebook only. As a first step, you must make sure you LIKE our Facebook page (use the link to the left) if you aren’t already connected to us.
2. Email us a picture of your future superstar to laredo@pigtailsandcrewcuts.com

a. Note: The pictures must be of ONE
CHILD only and be less than 150KB

b. By sending the picture, you consent to the picture being posted on our Facebook page where it will be in the public domain and viewable by others

c. Pictures MUST BE RECEIVED by 6:00 PM on Oct. 15th – unfortunately, NO EXCEPTIONS, even if your email is timestamped at 6:01 PM

3. Stay tuned to our Facebook page where we’ll post pictures by Oct. 17th.

4. There will be open voting starting Oct. 17th – ending Oct. 26th at 6:30pm and the voting will be through the use of “liking” the pictures. The one girl and one boy with the highest number of “likes” below their respective pictures will be the winners! It’s that easy!

5. Winners will be notified as soon as possible after Oct. 26th, and we will set up a photo shoot at the salon for use in advertisements!  This is meant for our Laredo area customers and we will not be responsible for any travel arrangements 

6. The more people who like our page, the more potential votes you have. So make sure your friends join our page and vote!

Our Food Drive for the South Texas Food Bank starts today and runs through Saturday. All specials this week are related to the food drive.
