If you’ve resolved to make some changes in the New Year, you’re in good company. According to University of Scranton’s Journal of Clinical Psychology, 45 percent of Americans report that they usually make resolutions (with losing weight, getting organized and spending less topping the list of most popular resolutions to make). And yet, that same research shows that only 8 percent of people who make a resolution are successful at actually achieving it.
In light of that less-than-inspiring rate, we’ve resolved, er, decided to forego any kind of radical resolution this January and simply renew our commitment to the Pigtails & Crewcuts’ mission that’s been working for us all along. In other words, we’ll continue trying to become the best “us” we can be. We challenge you to also renew your commitment to be the best you you can be, too.
We, at Pigtails & Crewcuts, work hard to create a world where kids can be kids. Inside our door, train tables beckon, toys await you and we strive to always be ready with a welcoming smile. We want all children to feel comfortable in our salon, whether it’s a kid with special needs, or a child who’s crying, screaming or laughing one moment and doing the opposite the next. We understand that not every day is a kid’s best day, and that’s ok. Being in the kids’ business, we’re pretty much unshakeable!
Our goal is to make every child’s visit as stress-free as we can for kids and parents. That mean we treat each and every family individually. If your child wants to sit on mom’s lap while we cut his hair, great! If he wants to walk around playing with trains while we follow and trim, fantastic! Movies? Books? Toys? Video games? Got those, too. We can usually even keep your child entertained long enough for moms and dads can to sneak their own trim in!
At Pigtails & Crewcuts, we treat your family like our family. That means we’re gentle and kind; we listen to everything parents and kids have on their minds; we use (and sell) products that we trust; and we love the energy and enthusiasm you bring into our salon.
This year, and every year, we understand that we wouldn’t be who we are without you, and, as we work towards becoming the best “us” we can be, we thank you for trusting our small, locally owned business to take care of the people most important to you. About that, we’re resolute!
