About Us

Kids come first at the Pigtails & Crewcuts - Trussville!! Grab a fun styling chair and watch a movie while you settle in for a haircut as our kid-friendly stylists work their magic. The concept behind this kid's salon is simple, getting a haircut should be fun and memorable! Our goal is to make the salon experience enjoyable for the entire family, customers tall and small, both parents and kids. We offer ear piercing, first haircut packages, hair-care products, and more!

Kids love looking at our whimsical paintings, playing with the wooden train table (not offered during COVID) and, when the haircut is done, paying a visit to our packed-with-adventure treasure chest. Who doesn’t want to get a treasure? Parents love relaxing in an environment where every child—smiling or crying—is welcomed with open arms. With an array of unique, child-safe hair products and a retail section packed with cute hair accessories, gifts, and more, Pigtails & Crewcuts is here for the whole family’s hair and beauty needs.

Basic haircut service for boys or girls. Includes wetting the hair and using clippers, trimmers, or scissors.

Service is FREE with the purchase of any of our earrings. It includes the piercing service, the earrings, aftercare instructions and the piercing solution for cleaning.

07 Swimmer's treatment

This treatment naturally removes the elements from pool, spa, or ocean water from the hair and includes cleansing, hair washing, and deep conditioning.

This is the full salon experience service! Kids Cut service with a shampoo added on! We have a variety of shampoo options to choose from based on your hair type. Hair will be completely dried and styled to your liking.

Beard trim

01-5 Shampoo & Quick dry

We have a variety of shampoo options to choose from based on your hair type. This is not a blow-out service and hair may not be completely dry.

Detangling

$14.95

Base price includes 10 minutes of detangling service with a variety of brushes, combs, and hair products. Stylist will let you know if additional time is required and what the anticipated cost will be.

02 1st Haircut Package

This specialized Kids Cut includes a dry cut lock of hair enclosed in a baggie and a photo commemorating the milestone event, both attached to a keepsake card.

Flat iron / Hot Tool

$19.95

This is for any styling service that involves specialty work including a curling iron or flat iron. We encourage you to come in prior to the service for a consultation so that we can evaluate what is desired and how much time it will take.

03 Bang Cut

$9.95

Trimming up the bangs or fringe ONLY. This cut can also include touching up the hairline.

Glamour Girl Package

Pamper your Princess with fairy hair, make up, fingernail polishing, and a tiara to top it off! If you want to bring friends, we can book up to 4 Glamour Girl Packages in the same setting.
